Sticky BBQ Chicken Wings NSC Style
Difficulty Level: Medium
Starting with approx. 12 Chicken Wings Washed and Slightly Patted Dry (wing tips removed)
1) Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
Coat prepared wings generously with NSC 1871 Pork/Poultry Rub or NSC Pure Maple Sugar BBQ Rub. (Either one offers a beautiful flavor to your Sticky Wings)
Line a deep rimmed baking sheet with foil arrange wings in one layer on prepared baking sheet.
2) Place in preheated oven for 20 minutes then rotate sheet and flip wings. Cook until wings are brown and cooked through, 10 minutes. Remove chicken wings from oven and turn oven off closing the door to preserve the heat.
Preparing your BBQ Sauce
(While Chicken is in oven) Prepare BBQ Sauce - Using your favorite BBQ Sauce bring (1 full regular size bottle) to a low simmer in a sauce pan for 15-20 min. Once chicken is out of oven brush (or dip) chicken generously with BBQ sauce.
3) Place Chicken Wings with coated BBQ Sauce back in oven for 5-7 min.
Remove this sticky goodness from the oven and serve with preferred vegetable.
