Level up your Grilled Cheese with Sriracha Salt

This isn't your Grandmas grilled cheese. Inspired from a friend sharing his story around a bonfire, it's just too good to not share! Even better once tested, tried and true!

From as far back as I can remember Grilled Cheese has been in my top 10 of comfort foods. Throughout the years I have tried things like dill pickle slices or potato chips on top of my cheesy grilled cheese. Now I've been inspired to just get CRAZY! Sriracha is definitely taking my grilled cheese to the next level. Pair this accelerated sriracha grilled cheese with a warm bowl of creamy tomato soup in the fall or a garden green crispy salad in the summer. Perhaps your choice of pairing is a pile of crispy potato chips with a glass of cold milk? Either way, make this amazing grilled cheese with a spicy twist, pair it up, and ENJOY!

You will need: (Yields one sandwich)

2 slices of whole grain or sourdough bread (your preference here)

2 tbls. unsalted butter

1 Bottle or Bag of Northern Spice Company Sriracha Salt

1 Slice deli style mozzarella cheese

1 Slice deli style cheddar cheese

1 Slice deli style jalapeno/cheddar (optional)

Salt and Pepper kettle chips (or your favorite bag of chips)

Prepare the bread by buttering one side of each piece

In your pan begin to melt butter.

Once melted add a dash (or so) of Sriracha Salt

Place 1 slice of bread, butter side down in pan

Layer cheese on top of the bread (go crazy here - you pick the order)

Place the remaining slice of bread (butter side up) on top of the grilling sandwich.

Flip sandwich until both sides of bread are golden brown and cheeses are melted

(this will talk 4-5 min. per side)

Place prepared sandwich on plate, pour a dab of sriracha on plate for dipping, pair with your

favorite chips and ENJOY!
